Thanksgiving + Fun

Thanksgiving... I really enjoy Thanksgiving. Me and my husband, John, usually attend two family dinners. What's nice is both of our family's do it a little different, so we get two different experiences which is why we love going to both.

Our first dinner is at my husbands parents house. They live a little over an hour away from us, so every excuse to go see them is great. They start their Thanksgiving at around 1:00, so I guess its more a lunch than a dinner. We were missing a couple of family members, but it was still very nice.

We didn't get to spend as much time with them as we would've liked because John got called to work. But after spending time there and when the work was done, we headed to my family's dinner. My family lives an hour away from Johns parents and about 45 min. from us. So it was a lot of driving that day, which we dont mind.

This Thanksgiving was very exciting. One of my Brothers in law had been in Canada for quite a few months and was able to come home a few weeks ago and be here for Thanksgiving. Another Brother in law of mine has been in Basic training for the Military for a few months and surprised everyone, even his wife, and came home for Thanksgiving. It was a great night to have everyone in the family home. We were definitely thankful.    

My brother in law even showed us some fun ways to workout in a group. Although im sure its not as fun having to do it often in the Military. Here's a video of us trying it out.



We also were able to get some great family photos. Here's just one of us having a good 'ol time.
